Thanks to everyone who came along to the Fitzroy Town Hall on Friday August 3 to take part in the very lively Trivia and Auction Night  organised by the Australian Youth Climate Coalition as part of their national Repower Australia campaign.

Hosted by climate scientist, David Karoly and AYCC volunteer, Max Smith, the night was a great excuse for all the smarty-pants to show off their knowledge and not-so-smarty-pants to bribe the hosts for the answers.

As usual we were overwhelmed by the generous support of local businesses who donated food, drink and prizes including… Raw Wine, Hudsons Famous Catering, Mountain Goat, Velo Cycles, Global Ballooning, Very Edible Gardens, Panel Pop, Melbourne Bicycle Centre, Hoj Apparel,  Jasper Coffee, Keep Cups and Treading Gently… Thanks!

Funds raised on the night will give a big boost to YCAN’s exciting new project which is harnessing community energy to build scaled-up renewable energy in our own backyard… Yarra Community Solar!
